Yes, this is the manequin that was in my "hang out spot" for a month or so. I couldn't get used to her and she scared me all the time because I wasn't expecting her.

Yes, I took quite a few pics of her. However, since I was trying to work without a flash it was hard to get good focus on anything without something to "ground" my arms/hands. I do agree that it works better. I will get more experience, but it will take time.
Now see, doesn't that work better? If I had shot this I would have shot 3 different versions with sharpest focus on the Eye, 2nd on the lips, and 3rd on the body (like this one). I think you have to do more coverage on your shots. It took me years before I started doing that. Back to this one - it does work better, don't you think?
