This would have worked better as a horizontal shot, and the blur on the bike is a bit much. Maybe just need to practice panning a bit more? It's hard, I'm not good at.
Do you have a longer lens, like a 75-300? It might look interesting if you got up on the hill and shot down on the bike.

Nice picture but I'd have cut the bridge out and left only the road between green areas.

Indeed try it with a shorter exposure time. Did you pan or just kept it still? These photos can be very nice if thay are real sharp against a blurry background. Regards, Rob.

Do you ride bikes? This is definitely extreme speed and you caught the adrenalin on your camera. Great blur of background and narrow depth of field focusing on the front of the bike (I think). It really does capture some of the excitement . . . .
