Thanks for your comments. I found these little guys to be rather tolerant, as this house was right beside a dirt road near an active quarry. You're right about the patience though. I took a few dozen shots over a couple of hours to get this one.

I won't show this to my husband. He has a number of houses around (he thinks they are the right specs) and has waited for tenants with no luck. He'd love to see this scene at his houses. Great shot, Todd with the three birds in different positions. The colours are great. Nice presentation.

I can't believe you haven't had a comment on this shot yet. You must have had a lot of patience to catch this one. Well done. I am trying to catch some of the birds in our garden but I don't have a long enough lens and they move too fast!
