ok makes sense. I dont care if things are copied I guess as I cant sell them anyway I am not sure they can be copied to well after the sizing for the sight.
I will probably do it in black when I remember to do it at all. Here people like to know who the photos are taken by when displayed so that I try to sign somehow.

Hi Brandy, I think it's the color, size, and location of the name. The lighter green stands out and pulls the viewer eyes to it. The iris is the subject of your photograph and it should receive all the viewer's attention. You are right. Many people do sign there work, and I am one, when I remember to do it. I now always try to make the © date and my name very small and place it in one of the corners.

second comment about the name. I am curious as to why since I see quite a few pictures with a artist signature on them. Is it the color or the location that is the problem?

I would have liked the light more all over the flower but wasnt my garden so couldnt move the flower much. I need a partner. I hope this week-end I got some better shots but been so busy with company no time to find out.

I love the lighting to this iris Brandy,the colour are just perfect.I think you captured this just at the right moment.An excellent composition.

A very wonderful close-up of this beautiful iris. However,I think the name you put on it takes away from it.
My advice on learning your new camera is study the manual and shoot, shoot, shoot.
