Hi Arwa, I forgot I didn't respond on this one. It's great. I totally agree with Bryan Miller. In this picture there is more to see, it's humoristic and the B&W tones are great. Good job! Chantal

arwa this fotograph is much better than the next one. you have a background here to create more interest! this one is VERY funny -- the other is okay but this one is better.
there are many ways to add color to the b/w. you can create a duotone and chose your secondary color. THERE ARE MANY CHOICES. you must make the correct curve adjustment though in order to create the color and light that you want.
or you can simply add color through Image/Ajustments/Color Balance. If I am only adding a very, very subtle tint to a foto (maybe to warm it only slightly), I use this method. Very quick, easy to print later, and okay effective.
funny foto!

Love the dramatic expression and composition here, Arwa. But a fish would have seen it with fisheye lens....LoL. Great work of art, my friend, congrats!

Stop blubbering :) Its impossible to identify the people in the background so its not an issue. They shpuld be proud that they have been included in a unique work of art. When your famous they will all want signed copies ;)

Thank you for the comment david!!!! I don?t like blue tones, not my favorite black and white hue! But I wont learn unless i kept trying! Your right about the tones I have the habit of over do the contrast! I already posted the second image ?yes blue tones- but changed the levels and contrast and made it lighter I would appreciate it if you had a look, you are my private tutor after all ;)

And you shouldnt clone out the person. It lends another dimension to the story. Cloning is the lazy persons way of getting a good picture. The real skill is to get the shot right first time. You must have been aware of the second person when shooting and included it subconciously for a reason. Keep it in please :)

Hi Arwa The image is fine as it is DONT start putting silly special effects on it. Thats not what this image is about. I like the brown tones and dont believe that it needs a blue 'water' tone to get across the point. It just needs to be a bit lighter. It looks too dark on my screen.

i tried the bubbles good idea but it gave it a photoart look which i believe your either good at it or so bad white or black no gray tones in between and i fall under the worse category! so i wont be doing photoart anytime soon thank you dirck! :)

Hahaha - *very* creative, Arwa! You executed this really well, too. I like the idea that has been suggested of trying this with aqua tones, too, and maybe overlay some bubbles? Really great job with this (pretty model, too! :)

Like the unusual idea, the idea is defanitely "out of the box". The person on the lower side looks fine, but am not sure about the person on the left side. Maybe cloning will give more attention to the central swimmer. Also was wondering if a different tone say "blue" was used. Very creative none the less.
