Excellent macro with good DOF which helps to highlight the flower. Well done for a good effort.

Hi Chelsea...caught sight of your comment on one of my friend's portfolios and thought I'd pay a visit. I love the subject matter on lots of your shots and I will pop in from time to time to 'see' you.
This composition is particularly beautiful and the focus is where it matters. I love the details you have picked out in the white petals, not easy to do, and love gentle colour at the centre. Well done to you, 'see' you again. Best wishes.Ray

Nice flower image. Maybe a little bit too centered for me, bit it's taste. Critical white color is done well.

You should try selling this shot to the government of Ontario, or Ontario Tourism, since it's Ontario's provincial flower. This picture is really impressive. I think you should go for it. The worst they could do is say no...and that would be their loss.

The detail in the white flower is awesome (hard to do with white petals). You also did very well managing the background.
I hope you are enjoying the 100mm. The tripod is practically required when using it since frequently the DOF is so shallow. The way you used DOF to your advantage really works beautifully on this image.
You macro queen, you!

Excellent Chels! As Bill points out, the texture is fantastic!
White is really difficult, but you handled it very well here. :-)

yeah, I use the 'blackfies excuse' when I blow a focus, too, Chelsea. ;)
Seriously, I think your DOF is sufficiently deep.

Lovely shot of the trillium. I don't have any problem with the focus. The flower is sharp, the leaves slightly defocused and the background completely defocused make for a wonderful picture. Nice job.

Nice! I like the way you can almost feel the texture of those petals.
