Marie, I think it works, I notice Neil commented on the lack of sharpness, if the water had been clear it would not have looked so good. I think the combination of that lovely swirly soft patterned and coloured water, is beautiful and the slightly out of focus little duck looks fine - especially as it fits the title its a lovely composition

Beautiful water patterns, but like the other I have commented on, the lack of sharpness on the duckling slightly spoils it.
If it was me, I'd have been tempted to take another photo of just the water!
