About
I was quite unaware of these tiny little wasps when taking the photo that was just a test shot for a new background card. I was using flash and so the wasps were caught frozen in flight. A happy chance.
These wasps prey on small caterpillars, laying eggs inside them and whose grubs then eat the caterpillars from the inside, leaving the vital organs until last. Quite gruesome really.
This photograph should almost be the poster announcing spring has arrived in Amerika! (Giggles) I adore this photograph for the richness of colour, which is brilliant, and screams of being alive. I much like the bees surrounding the flower itself. The background it absolutely brilliant for this photograph. Well done.
