Thankyou, this image was taken at the same place as my lake shots. When the sun is setting the rocks change to brilliant colours...sometimes more intense than other days.

Thanks Ellen...I hope to have some newer images in this series next week. The actual image hasn't been changed in positioning at all...the sky, the girl, the rocks and the funny bit of grass at her feet. I did blend in the edges which hid a lot of the fault but they couldn't be removed completely without distracting even further from the image. Hopefully I will have better conditions next time.

Hi Judi, I really like this series keep them coming. The little bush thing at her feet seems out of place I don't think it would be missed. Could the problem the others are talking about with the edges be solved by putting a feathered edge around her, just to cover the unwanted part?

Thanks Marco. I am pleased you enjoyed it. I have to say though, there wasn't actually any sharpening done. The glow you can see is one of the faults I was referring to...it is a magenta glow that was picked up due to the conditions amongst other things. That was the main area which is making me redo this series. It is such a disappointment that they have come up. On the large image I can zoom right in and see the destruction this has caused but in the smaller version it just takes on this horrible edging to the image.

Another very very good picture from your serie.
But if have to be completely sincere I think you put too much sharpening around the girl figure in this picture. You can see it by the bright contour in particular around the cloth she is waveing. My compliments for the composition, it's fantastic as usual in your pictures.
