Hmm, I didn't know you could see sea turtles from there. This was actually the first time I saw the ocean. I live in Ohio, so Myrtle Beach is about a 12 hour drive. It was wild down there because I just happened to be there during spring break, but I'm sure it's not like that all the time. I'll probably go there again sometime.

We have been going there for years, usually during hurricane season near the beginning of September. We usually stay about halfway between the two piers. I think this is the one that has the little gift shop with the pictures of the fish you can catch. You can walk to the end and sometimes see big sea turtles off the end. That's right, they charge a dollar to go on the one near the amusement park. Andre

I think this is the Springmaid Pier. I'm not sure, but it's the one that's free to go on. The other one is longer and you have to pay $1 to go on.
