Thanks heaps guys. When I was over in Perth, there were bushfires just out of the city. The smoke drifted over the city during the night and as such may have contributed to the colour int he sky.

Hey Jason. You are right, there are so many different great views for the city that I'll be posting them for a while. I wish I had taken a few more shots of Freo. If you do have time when you go over (you lucky bugger..) make sure to get a couple of shots of Freo at night with the old buidings and maybe down South Terrace.

keep the Perth shots coming Mark. i'll be over that way in April to shoot the town myself
well done with the shot. two shots i'd like to see from this point is on from lower point using the poles as the side frames, cropping at the top of the poles, the other is without the poles showingthe city from edge to edge of the photo
