Hey Phillip, congrats! I glad you got your 20D. I'll have to go check out you stuff and see what you've been doing with it. I probably won't do any astrophotography until spring, it's too damn cold at night!
so ryan, i finally got it, and now, im waiting, looking and very excited about all the bells and whistels im going to hopefully soon put on it.... the 20D has arrived and i shot with it breifly last night... wondering how your enjoying yours, it shoots amazing at night and im excited to see some of your work of stars and moon using this wonderful camera..
very nice shot, really great details and sharp color, well done.. As for IS it can be a life saver or worthless, depends on the situation. IS for hand held shots in any light, of slow or non moving objects perched birds etc.. Is wonderful escpecally in low light where you can get a extra couple of stops, camera shake is never really a problem in the above situations with IS, As far as bird in flight, sports, most action where your panning, I dont really know if it helps or not, I have taken many shots both ways and no real difference.... Thanks for the comment... Marcus
