Very nice self portrait, I dont think your learning curve will be very hard. I went form the 10 to 20D and I love It, your gonna love all the nice features of this gem, my only complaint is that of peters, the faster shutter speed made for a louder mirror click, which is not a problem for most, but I do mostly shoot birds and It does catch there attention.....

You wont regret you bought this canon 20D . The only bad thing i can think of , is the loud shuttersound and the movement it makes( the noise scares animals off and the movement is to big taking macro's.you will have to use the mirror lock).

here why "you were scappato", you have a new jewel in your hands! one great camera, my dream. I am "canonIST" but use still the film to which they are much legacy for the warmth of the colors and the delicacy of the image! an optimal one chosen and finally I see your face.
