thanks Jan, the atmosphere that day on the beach was magical. I have never seen such a dense mist but still it was warm and the sun was bright (i guess it was a thin layer of coulds/mist at the ground). I took the waterstep photo and the sand feet at the same day.

MMMmmm....this one went straight to favorites. Glad to see the BIP! The tones, composition and simplicity are really exquisite! Tremendously appealing to me...my kinda shot, all the way!!! Very serene...
Love it! Jan

Very nice indeed! On the thumbnail, it looked like an aerial shot of a coast line.
This is a nice surprise. I love the tranquility of the shot.
Cheers
Since no one is rating, ppdix says 6

God, it's so nice to someone still does film photography. I used to shoot with a Mamyia c330f and a Miranda F (for 35mm) Panatomic X in FR22 developer and Tri X shot at ASA 200 then (under)devloped in Microdol X - those were the days! Beautiful, emotive shot, btw!

now that I look at it on a different monitor I agree, the left corner is a little too dark. My LCD at home is too bright sometimes.
You know, since I saw your photos I have a different eye for landscapes now. When the scene has too much contrast and parts suffer from that I always think about the multi exposure technique and how much better the image could have been.
Your images and others here on Useful have made me become more aware of how beautiful landscapes can be and I plan to do that a little more, too.

Good retouch job, and interesting PS work - looks unearthy, weird. I like strong effects, but I wonder if the black toning in the left corner is a tad too strong, not sure
