Thanks for the comment Neil. I am pleased the D70 works so well under the conditions you experienced. It has shooting characteristics very similar to my F80 ..... instant start-up, no shutter lag. I guess I didn't realize the current DSLRs had advanced so far. And by the way you may not be a pro, but your images from Bormio certainly look professional.

Hi Richard. Trying out your D70 in the cold eh? Some nice colours here, it was worth getting up early. Thanks for your kind comments on my Bormio photos. You say you are suprised that i use a D70? Well i'm not a pro so money came into the question. But i am pleased with it. I work for television so was able to use a work opportunity to take the skiing photos. Best wishes from switzerland Neil
