Thanks for your reply. I know what Fractal Art is. I have even uploaded a couple of my own Fractal style images in my portfolio a couple of months ago. That is why I was confused as to the relation of Fractal to this image. As you guessed I didn't use any fractal with this image.
My images are made in sections individually before being brought together and worked on. The wings themselves take the longest. This particular set of wings was created by making one feather and shaping it to how I wanted it. I then made the wings feather by feather and shaping each feather as I went. Until I had four merged sections of wings which I then shaped and positioned. Once I was happy with the layout I then started working on adding colours to the sections of wings. This was all brought into the main image for further manipulation.
And that is how I made the wings. A lot of detail work. But I am pleased you liked them enough to ask the method.

Fractal art is a digital form of art done with numbers. I am not too familiar with the process but it is very popuplar with some digital artists. Some of it all looks the same, but some are quite unique in their approach to this new form of digital art. I think it is still in it's Beta form.
Your image looked to me like you added a fratal flame to your composition. I guess you didn't. Be interested to know how you did it. Andree
