Hi Matt, thanks for your comments. Yes, It was taken using a PL cir filter. I'm sure I went out to take pictures after 5pm, because sunlight burns my skin so easily (even if I'm wearing sunlight filter protection) See you.
Horacio, I would say that the sky is the most interesting subject here, so putting the horizon at the lower third is a good choice. Do you have a polarizing filter? Also, im guessing this shot was taken mid day... the lighting isnt very flattering. You may find that the hours around sunrise and sunset provide more visually pleasing subjects.
