Thanks stephen, Just remember To get the lens to go along with the camera, a 20D without atleast 300 to 400mm glass is worthless for birding....

Well to be honest, Most of the shots with more than one bird start out with a series of atleast 7 shots in row with 2 or more birds, I then find the one out of the bunch that has two in the best formation, and sharpness, then crop the other or others out, this shot had 3 birds, a female on top, the shot I posted before this with the sleepy guys, originally had 4 or 5 in the frame......

you had me cause thinking of the motion of capturing the birds so chrisp would mean the moon should have been a blur... love the ps shop work makes for a wonderful composition... great capture of the two ducks, wonderful green under the wings. great image

Thanks bruce, I live in San Mateo, 15 mile south of San francisco, I shoot from the airport to san jose which is around 35 miles of marshland, you never know what will show up and where, so when I have the time I make my way down stopping at each and every one of my spots to see what is around, I usually can find something to shoot at, I sometimes travel to other places to get raptors and smaller birds as we have more waterfoul then anything... Thanks again.....
