This is perfect. I haven't given a 7 in ages, but here it comes! You've caught the wave at the crucial moment and the colours are just wonderful.

sean, wonderful shot! i dig the effect caused by the slow shutter. keeps the water in relative motion and captures the spray really nicely. i would love to see a bit more of the spray on top, tho.

great capture sean, love the wave spray up top, gotta love the offshore winds!!!! keep the picts coming, i am living my surfing days through your images..... dreaming about being on my board and trying to figure out when ill be able to travel to somewhere that i can surf!!!!!

Jim, thank you. I believe the shutter was somewhere around 1/30. I've found that speed seems to work the best with surf. Sometimes I go down to 1/20 but usually not much slower than that.
