oooh well I like the bricks, it's what made me take a closer look at the picture. And I'm jealous because I wanted a white christmas and I even would have settled for a white new year.

Cool you got snow for Christmas. I'm glad I didn't though, because I worked on Chritmas Eve & Christmas Night. People in crowded traffic in a Holiday bliss state of mind on slippery roads...oh no thank you, I would have been much too busy. lol Dottie

The red brick wall makes this the unique image that it is...makes the difference from simply being another snow pic....it also gives the appearance that you desat the background, which of course you did not...i like it,Stephen...just stopped by to say Happy New Years!...hope to return to UF in the near future as have missed you kids and photography in general...still packing/moving,but have taken a break to enjoy the holidays in my new place...kinda scary starting all over at this point in my life, but hopefully good things will happen...regards,gayle

Excellent shot Stephen.
I think I might have cropped out the bricks on the right as they really seem to draw me away from the center of the shot. The flash really lit them up.
