Very striking and nicely detailed. Like Roger, I like to photograph statues. I think they are not only attractive and expressive as images, but they can certainly teach us about composition and light and shadow. Aha! Someone else who likes taking statues. Until I got a little more used to taking people I used to concentrate on statues... got a folder full of "statue" photos. This is a good one. The great thing is they hold still so you can find a good angle, and they never complain about how long you're taking!
