About	I found this in a planter in front of an office building near LACMA [Los Angeles County Museum of Art]. I've always loved these. So there we have it. Not an artistic shot or anything special. Just simple.

I like it except for that blue in the bottom left, it takes away from the flower.

Wonderful Photograph Kat, Great colors and clarity and Composition.

This tropical evergreen perennial not only tolerates the low light and dry conditions found in most homes, it actually makes the indoors healthier! When NASA did a study on 'sick building' syndrome, peace lilies were rated among the top ten air cleaning plants for interiors.
Pet Caution:
Common Name: Mauna Loa Peace Lily (aka Peace Lily)
Scientific Name: Spathiphyllum
Family: Araceae
Toxic Principle: calcium oxalate crystals
Clinical signs: oral irritation, intense burning and irritation of the mouth, lips, tongue, excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing.

Not a calla lily, but a very nice photo. The commom name is "Peace lily", but I don't recall the real name.
