This shot is full of meaning! A boat out from the sea in a sea of sand make a special atmosphere for this story.

Great story and great pictures to go along. This looks like a big boat to have gotten grounded. Great picture as if they are pretending to be at sea, and as if the three on the left are making it tip. Alison

MKM... That was about 3 years ago, when I was a little diver!

The poor boat did not have any alternative that committing a suicide! but the funny part, is that we had fun when the Omani Authoroties rescued us,,, we went diving on our boat wreck, was a good wreck dive and a new house for fish!

It may look like this after few years!!

When did that happen? Are they recent? Too bad you had to experience this, and poor boat the only way it could escape the load was by committing suicide. Overall, excellent presentation, well done =)

Loool... I felt very sorry for the boat, imagine that its cargo was more than 8 full kit scuba gear, 5 tents, food for 3 days, firewood, personal gear for 14 people!!!! No wonder, It has to sink.. lool

and we relised that we have done a big mistake by pushing the boat,, this caused the boat to sink while few of us were on the way asking for rescue, there was no communication there! they used scuba diving BCDs as buoyancy device and swim to shore! Simply, we should've waited for the tide to come up and go in peace!! or to anchor a bit far from the beach and swim to shore! lots of different solutions,, but we had good lessons,,, it was fun anyway!

To make it easier,,, I started digging a line to the sea and fill it up with water to ease the movement!

So we had to push it to the water! it was very very very hard to do that...

We have learnt a good lesson when we had these low tide problems,, it was a long time ago, a new boat and we did not have a good experience!
