I'm really impressed that you used 4x5 for this. For those that don't know, this is Mesa Verde National Park. The road is located straight up from this shot, as I recall. I vaguely remember ladders.

Wow! Great perspective! Very well done. I think I have to start using my 4X5. Standing on my head in order to see the reversed image properly is a little discouraging and hard to do, but I'll have to give it a shot :))))))))))))))

Very nice. The B&W seems to make it look even older than it already is!!

Again, I gotta grab my slides.....lol. I shot it on the last tour of the day. But knowing a ranger is even better!!

James,
For one, I LOVE B&W.. and a 4x5 suits this sort of image. I can just imagine some of the other prints from this session. The image was taken at a great angle !! Simply awesome. I know that the subtlety is probably even more pronounced in the actual print

Cheers,
Dave

James: I like this image, and I am guessing there are probably tons of potential pictures to take here.

Did you try using any filters (red/orange or green, etc) to add contrast to the (I am guessing) desert floor?

I see you used a 4x5, did you try one in the same position with the perspective "corrected"? I would be interested in seeing a comparison of this with a shot without convergence. I only shoot 35mm and often wish I could correct for perspective. While I like the convergence here, would love to see a comparison shot if you have one.

James,

This is a very interesting image. I wonder where this Cliff Palace is located..?... There's something so middle-east about it. I would also like to see it in colour... Very nice!
