Nice contrasts and the black and white format makes me remember how railways stations used to be...

If you were aiming for the billboard repetition - seems to be a feature of french train stations - maybe a shooting position more to the right side of the station would have captured it more evidently. But if you wanted to show how these billboards disturb the perspective of the hall, then well done. Anyway, congratulations for haveing been selected featured donor, I had a look at your portfolio, very nice. Btw, I recently uploaded a photo of a train station in Berlin.
Regards,
Pauls

I think the composition is very good, and also it captures the feeling of a train station very well. Especially the people sitting with bags waiting, which is a major part of taking a train!
I've been to this train station many times, there is a certain time of day when the sun shines in perfectly. I thought of taking a photo from nearly the same spot as you have here. I will try and get it next time I go.

Paul, no need to apologize ... you are obviously entitled to your own preferences and opinions. The thing that struck my eye was the reptition of the form of the billboards ... plus the entire place had a feeling of bustle and hustle that I found appealing. But it is kind of a snapshot ... are, at the most, a "street shot" taken without a lot of planning. Who knows why site management decided to put it on the front. So keep posting, my friend, you may be next!

Where's the pretty model? LOL! I like the perspective, the geometric patterns with the arches.

Apologies in advance, but I simply cannot see anything special in this picture, to me it is just a plain picture of gare st lazare shot with a wide angle lens. The perspective is normal, there are some people walking around, it's neither an architectural nor a people picture.
But that's just my opinion.
Greetings,
Paul
