Karen I like the tones in this image, even balanced with no blowouts. My wife has gave me the duty of some family portraits....I'm scared as I capture animals...well some might consider my kids animals lol I hope to get the colors and tones that you have in this image. Very well done. ty for the kind comment as well Lee

Cute! The pose is relaxed and sassy at the same time. Good light and skin tones.

Karen: Shooting in the bright sun is a challenge. Very nice capture, and here'e my two cents. All IMO need be altered is a little darkening, and crop off some of the greenery around her. This applies, of course for those who don't have a lot of extra equipment to carry around. You're doing fine.
My best to you David

I respectfully disagree about the lighting. The lighting on her face is uneven. This would call for very very light fill flash, a reflector held behind the photographer and to your right, or a slight change in the subject's position. Excellent otherwise!

Beautiful composition and lighting. I love the natural expression. Just be careful not to cut off fingers, or any limbs at the joints. Other than that, you're on the right track.

What a sweet portrait. The soft light shows off her beautiful skin, and there's a nice light in her eyes. My oldest daughter (age 9) lives in those little plastic bracelets :) Thanks re yours...you are doing great.

Nice even lighting here and she is composed slightly. Again, try not to crop out fingers if possible. Her left hand I would crunch into a ball shape, turn her slightly sideways on and tilt the head slightly. The lighting and expression are good though :)
