Having another good look through your portfolio, Dave, I do love this (and your other chipmunk pics). You must be delighted to have such a willing and able model! For you it's chipmunks, for me it's stone walls!
We get things called squirrels over here, I guess they're a bit similar, with bushy tails. There's grey ones (big and pushy) and red ones (smaller, shy and retiring, getting squeezed out by the greys). In places like the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, the (grey) squirrels are very tame, used to taking peanuts from hand, it might be a source of similar pics. However, in the country here, they're less forward, as they've no need of us humans!

Great wildlife animal shot with excellent colors, details and super sharp. I suggest to crop it a bit so that the branch the chipmunk is sitting on does end exactly in the upper right corner. At the same time it will not be too bright in the upper part of the picture...I take it that you know what I mean...

So cute! =) He messes around with your dog? My dog is funny by the way.. we walk pass some crows.. he was chasing them when he was little but at 8 years he doesnt care so much anymore.. when we were like 3-4 meters from one i said "Kakaaa" and my dog got really mad suddenly at them and chased them away.. hehe.. i got a nice laugh there! We should be happy for our pets!! =)
I love the look you caught there.. he look like a tricky one! hehe. Like he just did something bad! Great great detail.. super tones and colors.. very good work! =) 7+ for this lovely shot!
