About I took this from just a few feet away, crouched on the waters edge at a watering hole in the Serengeti. Hippos have a reputation for being extremely dangerous, but these weren't camera shy. Even so, I took every photo with one eye looking through the lens and the other looking around me. I was watching the hippos so intently that I almost didn't notice the crocodile laying on the waters edge just down river from me!!

Hallo Paul. Gutes Photo. Tanzania ist ein sehr schöner Ort zum photografieren. Ich hätte auch probiert ein Nielpferd dabei zu erwischen wenn es das Maul aufmacht. Wirklich gutes Photo.
