You have a keen eye, my friend. Since I posted it something has been niggling me, and you're right, the picture is a little too dark overall (although I like the floating pinkies!) Thanks for the input.
Hi Paul, Creative low key image, and a strong photo. Even though the dark tones work well, I think lowering the contrasts and increasing the brightness just a wee bit, would generate more feel for the depth and the textures. It would also reconnect the toes of the left foot to the sole, as they seem to be a bit afloat.
I do like the rather wide black spacing around the feet. It adds an element of emptiness, managing to draw the viewers attention to the feet very well. Nice one. I feel it needs a bit more consideration and exploration, IMO, but it's inspiring and creative.
