Hi Jane, I'll just add my kudos to the rest. This is wonderful.
If you used the zoom to create the image, did you zoom out or zoom in or both? (I don't think you did it both ways but I could be mistaken.) Please do tell all.

That's damn cool.
I like the concept as much as the execution, the thought's never even occured to me. Did you have to worry about the consistency of the speed of the zoom, or was it a long enough exposure that it didn't really matter?

Very cool. I suppose I might suggest placing the water's edge either above or below center, but I still think this is fabulous. Was it done by zooming during the exposure?
