A very strong composition in this one, John. Black and white and the reflection make it even stronger. Thank you for your very friendly comment on my "Alone on the beach". In case you wandered, the birds flying about are pidgeons. Best regards, Rafi

Beautiful composition, tones, lines, and reflections, John. Somehow it fills me with foreboding (winters are grey and awful here), but that's a purely personal reaction and no reflection on your fine work. :)

Hi, John,I?m trying to get back to Usefilm... after a short trip and some particular troubles. Excellent reflections and cropping.... but don?t you think there is a slight horizon tilt?
I?ll see your recent photos as soon as possible. Cheers! Carmem

Very nice B&W shot, John, with some fine reflections. That log burner sounded quite a job ~ I'm afraid D.I.Y. is not my strong point!! ;-) Have a great Sunday! Best regards, Chris

Wonderful photo as usual. The tones are perfect. Even though I'm from the most beautiful place on the planet, I must agree that there are some truly beautiful places in NJ. Plus I've known many people from NJ over the years and they have always been very freindly. As you are. Keep up the good work.

Thanks John, it is always good to learn more about our friends to the south. You are right though, many Canadians think of NJ only as the home of Jon Bon Jovi, and a very good hockey team. It nice to know that it is not called the "Garden State" only in a historical sense. By the way my comment was not kind, your image was fully deserving of praise.

Very calming, about as serene as it gets in the land of condos. Technically and compositionally superb. Looks very similar to the resort I live in on Georgian Bay. I had no idea there were places like this in Jersey.
