What a splendid garden, it creates the longing in me to go there and shoot a couple of photos. Beautiful colors especially in the background part. Compositionwise I would suggest to crop most of the foreground. It has a very heavy presence and less of it I think, would give the picture more balance. In addition it would reduce the burned out highlights you have here, which might be perceived distractive. Just a suggestion. Best regards Jorg and thanks for your comment on my picture.

Well personally I dont think you needed the immediate foreground at all (but how could you live with yourself if you'd snapped the frond out of the way) because those are beautiful forms coming out of that water there! Regards John. Please be patient with my friends fishing trip, I'm still waiting to take more shots of my own.

Marvelous composition and colors. I remember the song well. His plane crashed about a mile from where I lived in a little town called Dekalb, Texas.
