This is super Gayle!! I love it, and your toning is excellent although I don't know exactly what you've done. I love the subject and composition too. Although I suspect this this toning is best, this is another I'd want to at least look at in sepia-- just for the nostalgia thing.

This photo has a luminance that is beguiling, and I'm putting it in my favorites. Cheers. Craig

Wow! This is great. You are a very smart photographer and very sensitive person. Very nice effect and it seems a very old photo like the wagons. Cheers! Fernando

Great Gayle .... using black and white on this image really shows the age.... do you develop your own I wonder. The grass growing on the train..... ive allways liked tracks in photos because for some reason it gives it a rustic feel keep up the work monet
Great shot

The Gayle Hardman School of Photography. Online, of course. This is the best idea I've heard of yet. You could sleep until 2:00 in the afternoon. You'd get rich. And the rest of us could finally figure this out. Just tell me when you want my credit card number. Oh yes. I almost forgot. Great picture.

I really like the tones you have applied to this Shameless. Gives it an even more aged and time past feel. There are wonderful shadows and everything is dark yet you can still see all the detail. The old train looks like it is slowly becoming one with its surroundings.
