Wonderfully moody and somewhat ominous, Gayle! I love the way the pattern of the lace shows so clearly while the rest is so vaguely and roughly defined - like an image that's pushing through and into our consciousness from another place/time...

You know, your shot of the Seattle skyline was nice, but this sort of thing is your forte. It's compelling; it's complex. It's vaguely threatening but at the same time securely well-balanced and satisfying. It's a level of artistic accomplishment I can only dream about and I'm mightily impressed. You are very good, Ms. Hardman.

I like the textures and the darkness of this...on my monitor the reflections aren't very strong. Or maybe it's just my eyes! :) I would love to see this in color. Looking forward to it.
