ken, good observation. i also believe it would be nicer with lighter shades of dark. i actually darkened the print to hide a bad scan job (oops!). my good scanner went down and i only had a small shady scan to work with.

Very nice perspective, and (as others have said) mood. I'm wondering if it would also look good in a version with more moderate darkening.

Great toneal range - I love the darkness at the bottom and the top as it adds to the feeling of the image - reminds me of the movie 28 days later. for some reason (not a bad thing)it reminds me of the lonely feeling at the beginning and in fact(I know it may sound a little weird) but the music from the movie started in my head -- oh well perhaps I am a little strange -- love the image.
