this is only one "raw" shot then in PS i have modified the levels and little darken the sky

Was this image stacked to blend multple images? 400 seconds is an awefully long time for a dSLR. The only way this could be better is if the north star were in the frame.

Favoloso effetto stelle cadenti creato alla tua maniera.Ottime la tonalità e le luci in questo splendido notturno.

Wow, nice one Rocco! That 300D works pretty well on bulb, there's no noise in this picture. I want to get the 10D, but I think I'll need an auxillary power source if I'm going to do star trails. ;)

I have a canon 300d , this camera have a "bulb" or "B" setting , with which you can leave open the shutter all the time which you wish ..up when the batteries resist .

hahahaha, you are right my friend,I was totally wrong, hahaha. But 6 minutes is a lot of time, my camera have 16 seg maximun. What is the range of the exposure time of your camera?.

the exposition time was 400 seconds = 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

thank for the comment.
The sky was dark , but the light of the near city with the long exposure make it ... how you see it.
The light on the foreground are the lights of many cars which was coming.
I have modified only the levels and the contrast .

Rocco,
This is a lovely image! Did you take it when there was still some colour in the sky or was it already dark. What about the foreground lighting - how did you manange this? was it a flash or some other source of light? Really good picture!
