Dear Walter,
I really like the background color here. The angle is also great. I'm just wondering why you don't use a flash to get more detail onto the flowers here. especially the yellow part looks a bit weak. Or is this your intention? then forget my ideas =)

Hi Walter, Excellent angle and the translucency of the petals take this shot out of the ordinary. The off centered compostion would've worked better if you'd composed it in a way where all flowers were entirely included. In this composition, especially the few petals in the lower left corner are distracting. The same applies in a lesser extend to the disturbances in the middle and lower right corner.
With some minor PS rework, this shot would've been excellent. The exposure is perfect, as is the setup in this composition... Great idea!

Beautiful photo Walter, excellent use of the low angle. I would have tried a little reflection back up under the flowers just to give a touch more light, i know too much would look wrong! I have a collapsing ring reflector that fits in my pocket for such things. They are very good. Do you know the ones i mean?

Yeah! that's for me!!! That's my kind of flower photography. The angle is fantastic as well as the composition. It's just minor, but I would clone out the few blooms in the left corner and the flowerstalk and the little something in the upper middle.
