this is excellent! i love that there is a symmetry between with the tones of blue, but that the ripples in the water eliminated any exact mirror image of the scene...much more interesting this way! Kessia

I have seen pictures of Alazka and also some beautiful ones posted here by Carolyn Kees. The blues are dead on. It is such a beautiful majestic, crisp and pure country and it is perfectly reflected in your image Gregory. I absolutely love the water, WOW, it is awe-inspiring. Stunning and suberb capture!

Alaska is truly beautiful. It's great to see that you got a chance to enjoy it. I lived there for several years. When adjusting your sky I would recommend using a mask to select it and then apply changes. As is it looks as though your color adjustment did impact the snow color at the top of the mountains. I look forward to seeing more of your work as always.

Thank you have for your comment and opinion, the mountains tones were not changed, only the sky was enhanced, I do not know if you have been up north to Alaska , but the colors are truly to be seen, as is I truly love this capture, would not change a thing, Thanks again for you time.

Beautiful scene, but I'd be more eager to see the original. The addition of the blue gradient to the sky either by traditional or digital filter is too obvious. Not all the mountains have the same color cast and there is a faint line on the lower edge of the mountains where the gradient/original picture meet. Also the color cast is really obvious on the snow (as it should be white not grey/blue) and the lack of blue color in the reflection of the sky in the water are the biggest red flag.
Great ripples and reflections in the water. That alone might be a shot in itself. Beautiful scenery.
