At thumbnail size, I would have suggested that the crop is too tight. However, in the larger frame, I changed my mind. I think it is the amazing amount of sharp detail that keeps the eye in the frame. The wingspan at a diagonal, adds the right amount of dynamic tension. One could call this a "bird's eye view."
