Larry. I had all the house lights turned off so there was only the light from the candle. I didn't use a flash and while I do own a tripod it only fits the other cameras. I actually prefer to use no tripod as I feel I have more flexibility. So in the low light cases, I just hold my breath until I turn blue....!!! I am lucky that it does work for me. Judi

Very pretty Judy, just the light from the candle right? you must use a tripod alot as I have seen in your low light shots. This is neat.
