In the density of human activity warfs often seem desolate and lonely places.

hey fave-bro,
what the heck do you mean with the title? =)
like the split of the image by the boat and the great depth thru the skyline and the sky. well done!

First I wonder about the title! (Wer wandert so spät durch ...?) And then Lucy Bernadette wrote it before, there's nothing to add to this! Regards Franz

again, there's that ominous tone that you achieve with the 'dark atmosphere' that you create. one part 'i'm not sure what's going on', another part 'is this a dream?'. it really works well with this photograph in particular because there's a sense of 'something is heading my way'. the clouds and dark water along with the imposing boat help create this mood. a roundabout way of saying - awesome. ;)

Yes, this kind of composition works .. a person looking forward to the next harbour .. overall picture is a bit too dark in my taste .. regards, Peter

Your tones and feel for the scene are exceptional. How the hell are you doing this with a toy camera?
