This is a very cool shot. I actually got to hold one on the grounds of Prague Castle last month, but my photos aren't as good as yours.

How lovely! I can't see too much details in the eyes, but it's maybe because of my screen and it's not the best light here now where I sit. Anyway, it's very beautiful! The big whites, the pose, the way it looks... and great photo quality!

Good one, Chris. From the thumbnail I thought it was B&W but the touches of colour really bring it to life. Thanks for all your comments...

Mmmm - yes a beauty, fine detail and a nice uncluttered background, and for an Owl (Sheffield Wednesday fan) like me, it has special significance ;-)

Good shot Chris. Did you counter correct the exposure? It is spot on, not easy with white subjects. Good work. Best wishes - neil

A wonderful shot Chris-- nice composition and exposure (difficult here) is right on. I have a fondness for owls as my Grandmother had a large collection of owl fiqurines, sculptures etc.-- brings back fond memories. Cheers. Craig

Fabulous flurry of feathers :-) Yes, it is late here :-)
Great image Chris - stunning details considering it was full zoom! If only he had his head turned just a bit more to you!
I am looking forward to this series - I love birds.

Excellent owl photo Chris ... it's a hoot ! I do apologise for that one - but after a 12 hour shift would you ever expect anything sensible from me ? ;-)
