About Not only do I love these flowers so much, but this colour is extremely beautiful. A touch of lilac, which reminds me of our Jacaranda trees which will be in full bloom in October (our city is known for it's purple streets at that time). I bought this bunch about three weeks ago and have watched it unfold and mature. I took this image earlier this week and only got to looking at it today.

I really like this particular image and feel it is one of my better ones. For that reason I am leaving the rating ticked - so please do critique, comment and rate :-)

I tossed the thought of giving it a frame right out of my mind because I think these beauties don't need anything.

This is really quite lovely. You just continue to grow as a photographer. You are truly doing some nice work and more importanly developing your OWN style. I can spot a Currie without even seeing a name now. Much like I can spot a Larry White image... That's a really good thing. I like the sweeping lines of this one taking my eye from bottom right to top left. The colors are bold and lush and the details are sharp. Very nice indeed. I wish I had a month in SA and yes it would have been nice to be on your side of your country but oh well only so much time... Maybe another trip.

Lovely flower Linn but with such a beautiful portfolio to pick one image as your best is incredibly difficult, but I would say that the honours would go to Pink on Pink on Pink.Still this one is beautiful.

Hi Linn,
yes, I can see why you like this one so much. Love seeing more than one flower, a mini bouquet!
Nice composition. I especially like the detail in the flowers, they look 3D! And of course, there's their COLOR!!! :) Stems are nice, subtle the way they should be. Good job, Linn,

Lori ;)

ps....however...there are no 'hairy winged creatures'............LOL (just kidding ya) :)

Hi Linn ... I agree, this is one of your best; excellent lighting/details and such wonderful flowers! Hard competition is offered by "Luminous", posted on June, 15.

7/7 from me. Nowadays it?s hard to get rating from everyone, as it?s so usual with "Critique Only" ... about 2/3 remember to rate!

arwa abdullah   {K:34415} 7/3/2004
Maybe its one of the best because it has more than one flower in it
The composition is great too keeps the moving from one flower to the other then back to the first one
Even tho theres lots of flower each one is clear and sharp
7/7 glad we could rate this :)

Neil, will you tell me when you see one of my images that you consider "one of my best"? :-))) And it doesn't have to be pink, OK? :-))

Hush ... I buy the flowers ... hubby pays for them! Did I really write that? He bought me some flowers the other day ... beautiful little pink roses - they never opened :-(

Hi Linn, I'm not sure of it's one of your best, i think that's a matter of opinion... but i do think it is very good and i give you a +7 :)
The only think that worried me was that you wrote "i bought this bunch..." - doesn't someone buy these for you? You must be doing something wrong :)
Best wishes - Neil
