Always nice to see a friend up there on the main page!
IMO, This is one award that the Usefilm staff should rotate in the POD's portfolio. It only makes sense to me. After-all the fact that you have many images that could be shown, is one of the reasons you get the award!

thx for the comments. Actually, I changed the resolution for my pictures some time ago so that they better fit in. Would like to repost the image but unfortunately, that is not possible.
as for the tones: Didn't change too much ;-) The light is NOT really white in here.

Good one, Thilo. Well done work.
My only gripe is about presentation, and is really my problem: I can only see the whole picture by getting my browser to "zoom out".
But when I do, I see that it is good and well worked, with little heads to draw the attention in, a bit of a diagonal line, lots of nice curves.
My personal preference would have been for a non-toned one, as I want to see those spirals in white.

congrats on POD :) Love the perspective..I know what you mean about the tight wide angle conditions..was at the museum but could only go to the book store since they were closed between exhibits.. it was hard to take photos with my 24mm (plus the digital mag factor) I will have to load a photo from the Museum :) you selected a good angle.. a little soft on focus but I am guessing that is because of the lighting since you were using 100 ISO. When I looked at the thumbnail, I was going to say crop the bottom because it was distracting but now that I see the woman leaning over the balcony, I would not crop it at all since she is integral to the image. Great shot and congrats again.

eigentlich ist schon alles gesagt hier, mir gefällt die bearbeitete version besser, der schnitt ist einfach beser gesetzt und die wirkung der frau unten links kommt hier besser zum tragen finde ich...sehr schön, thilo.

Oh, yeah! I like this. Great geometrical patterns, and placed perfectly in perspective by the people leaning over the railings... Very good composition, and dynamism in this one. Not much to critisize, I only wonder why you converted it into sepia, plaing B&W would've worked for me too... Great shot!

@Thilo, schwierig, schwierig, an der Original Version mag ich die starke Verengung der Kurven nach links oben, aber ich verstehe auch wieso Du ganz extrem beschnitten hast....
Kann mich noch nicht so recht entscheiden :)
