I never found a third picture, but out of the two I did see, I like this the most.
This represents alertness to me, the image shows this well. It is more then just a picture.
Very good capture.
I looked at all of your photos and I did not find one poor quality image.

And their you have them. A couple of proud Europeon small clawed otters. The mother is only half the size of the father. Mom also had a large patch of fur missing on left flank which i could only imagine had been scrapped away by the 4 young cubs when trying to feed.
