About Breaking News! Stuart Little has been arrested and charged with pilfering at the cheese factory where he is a supervisor. Mr Little claims innocence. Inspector Cat says that evidence is overwhelming. Bond of 10lbs of cheese expected to be raised by the community.
Hehehe ... caught this little chap begging for tickles. He lives at a petting zoo with lots of other interesting critters. Natural light and live model (unpaid). No animals were hurt during the making of this image :-))

Hi Linn,
sad Stuart but really a good shot!
HE (I love animals a lot) appear so human with his desperate eyes, and with his legs that seems human fingers...
Ciao

Hello Linn! They are brightest on top part yes, but also in dark background at bottom there are many gray little dots. I think maybe we have different light settings on our screens if we don't see it same way. Aaah, don't worry, I mean it IS such lovely capture of this little sweetie! :-))

Hi Kristina,
Do you mean on the top shelf? Those are grains of food. I know this is not a good quality picture and I only used it for the humor I saw in it :-) This cage was right at the back of the undercover "shed" and I only had morning light. I so appreciate your comments, thank you :-)

This is so sweet! Such lovely and funny expression! A little bit grainy quality... On my screen the background has got lots of little pink and blue graindots. Can you see that too? I find that more distracting than yellowish colour tone. Yellowish colour tone can be because of late afternoon sun too, which can look so nice! :-))

I've just noticed that you wrote it had been natural light...
Looking at the bars (especially at the left bottom part - the "lock") I still have the impression that you used an additional source of light i.e. a night-lamp.

Anyway, I tried to change a little bit your shot. I hope you like it. And please remember about white balance :)

hahaha very funny!

I suppose that you used a lamp to light up Stuart - it's a litlle bit "yellow" now. You've got a digital cam, so can change the White Balance. I would do so, to show the right color of the mouse (rat?). I've never been good at biology ;)
