The photo is taken in one of the historic archeologic sites of Iran, Deyr-e-Gachi; two hours from Tehran. The model is the creature of a series of artistic textiles like the one in the photo. I found this portrait apealing.
Wow! Fantastic shot, Ida! I love the low camera position and the dynamism in this shot. It creates a very strong tension, also induced by the unforced and natural pose and strong selective lighting of the model. Very well balanced composition, and a great shot in all aspects.
I would only change the frame a bit, as I think it does not fit with the perceived message. It is a tad too heavy for my taste....;o) Outstanding work, though.
