About Daigoji is famous for its very old pagode. I found also many other attractions in the place, like this corner.

Audrey, I like the cropping and think it is better than the original. In regarding to the colours, I feel it is somewhat over saturated, especially the brigde which has lost its orange flavors and turned to be complete red. It is a matter of taste and I am sure there are many that would prefer the enhanced colors.
Thanks again for the remarks and for the work.

Noam, I cropped a bit off the top for you. While there, I 'burnt in' a bit and added contrast. Interested in your view.

Thanks for the inputs. I hesitated whether to crop or not to crop...
Regarding the PS usage, I guess there is no escape from upgrading to this tool. (Currently I do all my picture modifications with IrfanView).

Noam, your portfolio of images of places in Japan are very nice. For this one, I would crop the top of the picture a little to lose the pale sky as well as the hanging branch. Running the burn tool over the green will also help define and give depth to the trees. Worth a try.

I like the place very much. I also loved the beautiful steep path in the woods climbing to the Kami-Daigoji temple.
