Cal, I really like the gannet coming into land, but the ones in the immediate foreground distract from the overall impact of the image to me. DOF is very shallow in a long telephoto shot, so there probably isn't any way to capture the action and still get the foreground tack sharp. I think a tighter crop of the bird in flight with about 1/2 the nesting birds in the bottom would be better.
