About	Taken on a partly cloudy day. The sun was lighting the green shrubs in the background which really set of the yellow "whatever it is thing" on this birds head. I also liked the angle of the wood he was on. The biggest problem I have with this photo is the little bit of a second bird in the left hand corner. I could crop him but, he was truly there so I'm leaving the photo "real".

The cloudy lighting worked well for this shot. I like the cockatoo's expression and the texture of his feathers - and his yellow crest.
